Heather grew up and lives in the beautiful Texas Hill country. She is a graduate of Baylor University with a degree in interior design. She is a Registered Interior Designer and a member of ASID – American Society of Interior Designers.
Interior design led her to commercial and high end residential work along with the restoration of several historic buildings. Her design background accentuated her love for art.
Heather began painting in 2005 taking workshops with nationally known artists Cheri Christensen, Carol Marine, Guido Frick, Chuck Rawle and Lois Griffel. Her paintings have come a long way from her first art critique at a workshop where her painting was placed upside down on the wall (it honestly looked BETTER that way)! Heather’s paintings are how she “sees” or “feels” something – her way of interpreting. She does not want to copy what she sees but rather express it on canvas.
